4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great name for a beer that fully illustrates the flavor. This does taste like sauce made out of hops. And, again, with the $3.99 price on the bomber. I was sad to see my shop was out of this when I recently went there. I should have bought some to stock up. And by stock up, I mean drink all of them in one night because my "Off switch" would be passing out on my couch after a bunch of 8.1% bombers.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled in a bomber. A really hoptastic brew. Clean white head over an orange base. Super quality ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from City Beer, February 2014.
Hazy dark orange with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of hops,
grapefruit, malt and some "earth". Bitter and a bit unbalanced. Not the best DIPA that I have tried.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours orange with white head and very little lacing. Strong and pleasant aroma...well balanced between pine and citrus. Taste is the same with some spicy notes and enough malty backbone to make it more than drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. No date. Unsure of age.. Pours light amber, with an orange hue. One finger head, which dissipates to a thin ring, leaving spotty soapy lacing. Ripe tropical aromas of guava, mango, OJ pulp and dried florals. Palate is full, with lower carbonation. Flavors of bitter orange citrus, mango, herbs, pine and dried florals cling to the palate, on the lingering finish. A deceivingly big beer, with a big hop nuances. Best enjoyed chilled, not straight out if fridge cold. The aromas and flavors integrated and became more expressive as the beer warmed. Overall, a good IPA for hopheads.. Let it warm.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
poured from a 22 oz bottle, it is a hazy light brown color with a sweet floral/citrus aroma. The taste is more pinecone hops with a fairly bitter finish. This is a nice bitter IIPA, but doesn’t have the fruity hop flavor and aroma that I really love in an IIPA.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was a great beer. Poured a rather dark golden color, and slightly cloudy. I was surprised by how dark it was for an IPA. Small, quickly dissipating head.
Aroma was sweet, some citrus notes, with lots of hoppy resinous pine.
It was very sweet, but not super malty, which I was surprised about. Hops were balanced by the sweetness. Overall I really enjoyed this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dull orange with a tiny white head. Nose brings out candied notes upfront, along with rich resinous hops, a touch of pine, and a seemingly large caramel malt backing. Flavour is similar, bringing out big resinous hops, some citrus and grapefruit, and a rich caramel malt backing that leaves some residual sugars. Each successive sip reveals the sweetness more and more, in cloying territory after a while. It’s not that lopsided, but this is certainly not at all my kind of IIPA. A cloyingly sweet, syrupy, over-malted IIPA here. Not my thing.
