Pours a hazy copper color with a small head. Aroma has some bitterness and fruits like bananas. Taste is unique with almost a Belgian quality to it. Slight bitterness and then some citrus in the backend. Average IPA.

Sweet in the buds at first then nice hopped bitterness. I like this beer because it reminded me of NBBC’s Ranger line which is my favorite dept. store brew. A craft beer should stand out from the rest because of the premium price imho, and this beer did not. However, this beer could definitely be a door opener for people who like sweeter beers to turn a new leaf. I will buy this beer again and try others from the company. This beer is brewed from one company and sold by another and craft beer is a delicate process which takes close attention so brewers beware. Regards, AZZJ97

the aromatics definitely are the source of most of my enjoyment with this beer. Thank god I didn’t just drink it out of the bottle

Cloudy orange color with white head. Strangely very little aroma. Taste - Mild grapefruit notes, floral caramel malt and a bit herbal. It’s pretty good but not my favorite flavor profile for an IPA.

Had at the MPLS 2012 Autumn Brew Review. The smell was very inviting so was quick to take a sip. A burst of flavor went thru my taste buds. I chugged it and asked for another sample.

Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit III. Thanks to bnielsen13 for sharing! Pours a clear dark orange appearance wi a nice, fluffy, off white head. Chewy toasty malty, light caramel, juicy grapefruity, a bit spicy bready aroma. Tangy, spicy, grapefruity, toasty, a bit resiny flavor with a slightly dry, bitter finish. A bit goopy. Maybe a touch dated bottle but not bad.
