3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Barclay’s. Clear amber color with minimal white head. Dry, bitter aroma with notes of sweet fruit. Not particularly complex, but not bad either. I’d drink this again but it doesn’t stand out among IPAs.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Clear pale amber. Hoppy aroma of lychee and apricot. Dryish with slender body and clean mouthfeel. Salty lychees dominate the flavours. Really bitter finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden colour. Expressively floral, woodsy aroma. Bitter, even body admittedly straight from the Brewing 101 textbook but fairly decent quality level. Dry, slightly herbal finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very inconsistent beer. when its good its great when its bad well you get the idea. Huge hop bomb nose great upfront bitterness and citrus, the bitterness just linger and lingers. toast and bread malts with a good dry finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2007 Light pine and citrus notes, balanced & light flavored. Not the west coast hop bomb that has become the typical IPA out here but very pleasant. Nice malt body to support the hops.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Malty, slightly syrupy. Apricot and orange hints embodied in the flavor and aroma. Graham cracker and cookie malts. A bit overbittered and astringent on the palate, wouldn’t be expected from largely malty body. Decent stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on tap. Orange gold color. Small to minimal head. Aroma is grapefruity and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and spicy. Hoppy without being over the top about it. Nicely balanced. Smooth taste. Nice but not flashy IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft.Amber color with a thin white head. Big citrus hops with some pine. Finishes dry and crisp. Well balanced, but still asserts itself as an IPA.
