Very nice hop/malt balance, with a pronounced hop bitterness at the finish. A new offering in MN. Iíll be having more of this. Reminds me of a dIPA, but it doesnít pack as much ABV.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2012 Bottle from France and 44. Pours bright amber with a sudsy off white head that settles to a soapy film and some lacing. Aroma is sweet floral citrus pineapple and piny with just a touch of malt mixed in. Taste is very nice hoppy bitterness with pine citrus mango pineapple and a smooth malty finish. Palate is medium and shows good carbonation with a chalky drying finish. Very well done! I wish there were more California IPAís on the shelf here in Minnesota!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Caramel malts, vanilla and floral hops come through on the aroma. Clouded copper color with a small foam and decent lacing. Caramel and nut malts upfront with balancing floral and citrus hops in the back. Alcohol makes its presence known on the finish. Overall, a pretty decent IPA with relatively balanced flavors. More on the malty side. B rating.

Smells great, tastes great and you canít beat the $3.99 price for a bomber. I canít add anything that hasnít been already said other than it tastes like I would imagine that beer made out of some killer bud would taste like. Pretty floral and easy on the gullet.

Bottle. Pours a foggy orange color with a decent, frothy head. Subtle, tart aroma with a nice hoppy kick. Tight taste with a combo of tart fruit, nice hops, and dry finish. Seems very springy. Delightful brew.

Pretty good. I liked it. I had this one a while ago but forgot to rate it. It was yummy and what I expected. Hops were good and malt was on par to blend this into a major decent beer.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at the Rubicon. Pours hazy amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity in an earthy way. Med body. Flavor is edgy, earthy, with a little resin. Leaves a nice bitter aftertaste.
Earlier Rating: 2/16/2007 Total Score: 3.6
Pine hop aroma. Golden amber color with a decent white head. Starts with medium pine hop flavor, thereís a bit of spritzy carbonation, and thereís a little balancing malt to go with a decent hoppy bitterness through the finish. The finish bitter is assertive and it lasts and lasts.
