Sweet in the buds at first then nice hopped bitterness. I like this beer because it reminded me of NBBC’s Ranger line which is my favorite dept. store brew. A craft beer should stand out from the rest because of the premium price imho, and this beer did not. However, this beer could definitely be a door opener for people who like sweeter beers to turn a new leaf. I will buy this beer again and try others from the company. This beer is brewed from one company and sold by another and craft beer is a delicate process which takes close attention so brewers beware. Regards, AZZJ97

Benzai (14108) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 27, 2016
Bottle @ home. Not sure why the description says it’s "golden in color", as mine is without a doubt hazy orange to dark orange colored, but whatever. Medium sized beige head. Aroma is of malts and hops, lightly resinous. Taste malts, lightly caramel, hops, resin, resinous bitterness and some malt bitter. Sticky texture, medium body and suitable generous carbonation. Quite pleasant.

Bottle from Kihoskh in Copenhagen. Hoppy fruity smell with pine and a caramel maltbase in the background. Similar taste. Medium bitterness. Nice maltbase that lifts the hops. This is probably a bit aged since the hops feels a bit faded. Still a nice beer though. Clean.

Bottle @ Žmogšala3 festival, Vilnius. Pours amber almost no head. Aroma: caramel, sweetish, hay- feels like old and the hops are dead- didnt saw BB. Taste: same as aroma+ a bit grassy, bitter. Medium body. Bitter finish. Hope I can get it more- maybe it was out of date.
