22 oz. bottle from BevMo. Appearance is dark gold with a nice aroma of fruit and slightly earthy. Nice thick head with lacing. Well balanced flavor with a caramel sweetness and fruity, piney hops. Another fine California IPA, does not disappoint.

Cask at the Rubicon. Pours hazy amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity in an earthy way. Med body. Flavor is edgy, earthy, with a little resin. Leaves a nice bitter aftertaste.

Pine hop aroma. Golden amber color with a decent white head. Starts with medium pine hop flavor, there’s a bit of spritzy carbonation, and there’s a little balancing malt to go with a decent hoppy bitterness through the finish. The finish bitter is assertive and it lasts and lasts.

On tap at the brewpub. This one pours golden orange with an off white head. The aroma is tropical with some peach, grapefruit, and pineapple. Also a hint of pine and caramel. The flavor is well balanced but still has very strong hop flavor and bitterness with the same flavors as in the aroma. The caramel malt stands out well, but behind the hops. Not overpowering, but still a pretty potent IPA.

This brew is a clear amber-gold color with a medium thin white head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Citrusy aroma with notes of malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, citrus and earthy malt. The finish is herbal and earthy with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bomber. Peach and golden colored in appearance with pillowy white head. The aroma is a blend of floral hops, candied grapefruit and dried mango. The taste starts off with ruby red grapefruit and herbal hops bitterness flavors along with some toasted malt and mandarin orange. The finish is bitter and citrusy with a mild malt presence in the background. Overall, a solid IPA with strong citrus and hops bitterness characteristics.

pours a nice dark orange. getting a floral hop aroma from this one. the bitter hop flavor though is a mix of mostly floral with citrus undertones. Well balanced IPA.

(22oz bottle thanks to ericandersnavy) rich gold-orange with ring of off-white bubbles. Nose of sweet caramel, candied citrus fruits, smells awesome. Taste of sweet grapefruit, lightly bitter but nicely done, rhubarb, and oranges. Finish is nicely carbonated to wash away some of the bitterness. Quite well done.
