Pours a murky rusty brown. Nose is like cheese. smells like funky cheese. like blue cheese that was aged in a fat man’s ass crack. Taste is cheesy too, slight tastes of peated malt, some molases, but that cheese wont go away.

On tap at Blue Palms. Pours a hazed brown and a tan head. Aroma of raisins, glazed cinnabun, light alcohol. Taste is grainy with dark fruits and a bit of caramel. Creamy mouth but feels a bit thin.

Tap at the brewpub (also cask later). Poured a very dark brown with a creamy tan head. Rich malty aroma. Near full bodied with mild carbonation. Flavor is darkly malty, but not very sweet. Not at all sticky. Maybe a hint of smoke. Finishes clean. It drinks very well. Too well. Notes based on tap, but the cask was even better.
