2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at the Grad in Davis, CA. Poured a deep red color and smelled of clove and spice. Sweet malty flavor, but lack of carbonation really took away from the experience.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
poured dark ruby/mahagony-purty beer!aroma is complex and sweet with a hint of apple(?). the flavor is unique and can maybe be closest compared to an english barleywine, but actually better than most i’ve had. full bodied without being thick or cloying. if ths were bottled, i’d be searching it out. the flavor is truly special."
ironically bottles not quite the same. 4.2 tap, 3.8-9 bottle

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured into an imperial pint glass. Beautiful finger and half of off-white head on a dark red colored body.
The aroma is nice but faint. Caramel and dry barley.
The taste heavy on the malt but not too sweet. There’s a little hit of lemon bitter in the middle. It finishing long and dry.
The texture is thicker with low carbonation.
