COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Reddish copper in color, our Amber is brewed with a blend of Pale, Crystal, and Munich Malts. The slightly sweet, roasted flavor of the malts is ballanced with ample additions of Cascade hops, producing a classic American Amber Ale.

Mild honey and pineapple aroma. Cloudy copper, medium yellow head. Mild dried leaves flavor. Subtle dark honey. Thin body. Worth at least the state tick.

"(used to) rival my favorite ambers. More consistently good than Red Horse, and just as good in the bottle as draught. Great amber for hopheads, but still has a nice malty backbone. 2010-too many off batches makes me think the quality of this brewer has slipped quite a bit. too many duds...tasting of bland malt and less hops. probably won’t buy again, which is a shame. anywhere from a 3 to a 4."

Medium brown, clear body, thick airy head, minimal lacing. Light aroma of roasted malts, taste is more pure malt, mildly bitter and lingering finish. Grows on you with each sip.

Poured a thin head that was quickly non-existent on top of a deep amber colored body. The aroma is faint with lemon and pine. The taste is moderately lemon bitter with a touch of malt sweetness. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. An average ale, but at ABV 5% it’s something you could have a few of.

On tap @ JR’s, Elko, NV. Pours medium amber, slightly hazy. Pretty average amber, a little on the watery side. Decent hoppy aftertaste.

Tap: amber pour with big frothy light-tan head. Aroma of peachy, citrusy hops. Flavor is malty with a dab of roast grain bitterness and a light citrus peach hop note. Flavor is good, not quite as strong as aroma leads on, thins out on finish, but easy drinking.

Bottle thanks to my brother. A light copper colored body with a yellowing khaki head. The nose is sweet with caramel and black tea. There is also a nice hint of almond. The taste has bitter grapefruit, more hoppy than I expected. There is also a little bit of sweet toffee. Black tea and smoke rounds out the long finish. A really nice amber ale.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is a very pleasant caramel and pine hop note. The flavor is a simple and tasty mix of PNW hops and some sweet malt elements, light biscuit and caramel. Quite nice.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy amber-brown with a decent light tan head that quickly fades. Taste is of malt, caramel, some brown sugar, hops, some pine and some citrus. Has a similar aroma. Both the flavor and aroma are rather light, but pleasant. Has a nice, light lingering bitterness and dryness. The body is rather light and creamy, but a bit watery. Pretty good as it warms up. Rather refreshing, quite pleasant and very easy to drink. On a hot day, this would be a good thirst quencher and a nice alternative to a pale lager or other light bodied beer.
