Cask half pint at the Jack Fairman (JDW), Horley. Deep golden to copper colour, small white head. Moderate aroma, malty with hints of toffee and a little fruit. The flavour is malty but not sweet, with a slight but pleasant tingling fruity sensation on the tongue.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2015 Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) Clear amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, leather and biscuity, also buttery. Taste is sweet and malty at first, fruit and biscuit coming through, but not a lot. Light bodied but thin texture. A fruity, bitter finish. Recognisable Greene King characteristics in this beer. An average bitter overall.

Cask at JDW Putney. Hazy dark orange, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is musty hop, shoe, leather, tangerine. Like a tangerine in a musty leather shoe. Sort of. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light and malt-forward, slightly soapy, some perfumey tangy floral hop, easy drinking. Better than expected, nice condition.
