Kolor bursztynowy, idealnie klarowne. Piana srednio obfita, dosc szybko opada, zostawia gruba obraczke i nie oblepia szkla. W zapachu intensywny karmel, lekki mokry karton, lekki aromat chmielowy - ziemisty, ziolowy, trawiasty i minimalnie cytrusowy. W smaku polwytrawne, karmelowe i lekko nieprzyjemnie kwasne. Goryczka niska, minimalnie sciagajaca i lekko, ale dlugo zalegajaca, aromat goryczki taki sam jak w zapachu. Odczucie w ustach prawie zerowe, moze lekko goryczkowe po kilku lykach. Wysycenie srednie.

Aroma: herbs, floral notes, some citrus. Appearance: clear amber color, poor white head. Taste: medium bitterness (herbs, pine), herbal aftertaste, some caramel, quite dry and watery. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, herbal and bitter aftertaste. Overall: Traditional English Ale with intensive herbal notes and some caramel. Quite nice.

Capa (1970) - Manama, BAHRAIN - JUN 11, 2014
Deep clear amber with a tall off-white head. Aroma is lightly malt and citrus hops. Subtle and smooth. Flavor is similar with earth, citrus, and light grains. A more relaxed and subtle brew. Easy going and enjoyable but not memorable.

VRobertovich (27) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Deep amber ale, with foamy white head, medium carbonation, and medium-bodied. Dominating caramel and toffee malts, and a little nut. Nicely balanced with subtle citrus hops, but largely resiny and earthy, with some rather less subtle notes of alcohol. Other than that, an admirable premium bitter!

Backlog. Tried it bottled. A decent example, not enough to float my boat though. Dominated by a slightly stale caramel, some herbs, grass and citrus.

Bottle @ home.

Roasted caramel malts aroma, hints of metal. Bit of a head. Pearls of carbonation clearly visible. Strong metallic flavour. Touches of roasted malt and a few bits of bitterness.

Aroma is an intense soury and hoppy affair hinting towards marijuana. Has a nice brown body with modest head. Flavour is very soft malt hints and little else. Kind of weak & watery mouthfeel. It looks and smells good but doesn’t deliver. All surface, no substance!

Brun/orange med tykt hvitt skum. Lukter malt, humle og sitrus. Tørr bitter smak med litt sitrus. Bra med kullsyre, kort bitter ettersmak.

StueyD (1122) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2014
A mid amber brown coloured beer with a thick white head. A light, grassy, citrusy hop aroma with a background maltiness. Dry mouthfeel. A bitter hop taste, pithy citrus fruit flavours, resinous and piney is mellowed by a caramel malt taste towards the end. The finish is bitter and hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
