Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear amber in colour with low head and medium body. Taste of light honey, caramel, grass, hay and hops. Quite bitter finish where it was quite sweet at first. Nice but no special Bitter.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50 cl bottle @ Pappila. Rated on 24.07.2010
Aroma has toffee, some caramel, English hops and hints of hay. Flavour is slightly sweet with lots of toffee typical to English ales. Also some caramel and hints of biscuits. Very English.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Brilliant copper colored pour. Huge off-white head. Plenty of lacing. Big skunk aroma. Didnít even notice it was a clear bottle until I poured it and got a whiff. But under that is some caramel and malt. Nice bitterness up front with a very strong malt backbone. Sweet caramel. A nice crisp finish, with a hint of bitterness.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Had this after Timothy Taylor Landlord. This was slightly less drinkable with no interesting flavours coming through. Very hoppy though so not too bad. Pretty drinkable and would have again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber,some head,good carb.clear.
Skunky,malt,caramel sweetness underneath,slight fruit,and hoppy (herbal?)undertones underneath the skunk.
Skunky grassy taste, once you get past that its smooth, caramel, quite grassy bitter finish, fairly malty though, english butter, spice, mild burnt caramel, quite alot of character for a milder abv beer. Quite grassy bitter as well. Quite.Reminds me of malt liquor some I think but I havent had any of that in decades.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle. Pours clear copper with medium off-white head. Malty and slightly yeasty aroma. Generous but not overpowering malt with some sweet fruit flavours. A late developing bitterness that lasts. Quite well balanced and enjoyable.

Clear dark golden ale with a soapy aroma and a sour crisp bitterness. Not the best taste.
