First off, any beer worth anything ought not be put in a clear glass bottle. Fortunately, it didn’t affect this beer adversely. In the aroma department this one is rather bland some faint hops and a bit of maltiness. Taste is a bit better than it’s nose. Mouthfeel is a little more thin than I thought it would be. Finish is just a touch bitter, but surprisingly doesn’t linger on the palate very long. As duff said it’s rather middle of the road.

50 cl. bottle@home in English Pint glass@approx 15 degreesC. Pours deep golden with one finger head. Well balanced aroma with both fruity hop, grass, bread and caramel malt. Taste does not quite live up to aroma with a touch of metallic disturbing the classic British bitterness. Bitterness also quite dominating also in the quite dry aftertaste. Somewhat watery texture with soft carbonation. OK British bitter, but could do without the metallic twang which thankfully evaporates after about half of the pint.

Barwa miedziana, klarownośc idelna. Piana średnia, szybko opadająca, średnio pęcherzykowa. Aromat zdecydowanie słodowy. Trochę karmelu i estry.

Bottle, 4.3%. Pours clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, mwith notes of hops and fruit and touches of caramel and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with some subtle, sweetish notes of malt and yeast. Bitter aftertaste with a metallic touch to it. Lively carbonation. Not bad but nothing extraordinary, either.

Z butelki silny zapach kontynentalnego chmielu. Piana niezbyt wysoka, lekko beżowa, powoli opada do cienkiego kożuszka. Kolor piwa to lekka miedź.

50 cl. bottle from Fakta discounter. Clear, deep golden colour with an amber tint. Fluffy, off-white head. Fruity aroma with caramel malts, toffee, nuts and floral hops. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with fruity notes - apples and caramel malts. Classical British - maybe bordering old fashioned. Still enjoyable, extra credits for the low abv.
