500 ml can served chilled in afternoon sun before fishing. Faint caramel under stronger hoppy aroma. Pours amber with generous long life tan head. Well rounded caramelly biscuity hoppy beer. Easy to drink.

A beer which tastes of bitter hops, a least that’s something aprt from the usual sugar goo in most bitters

clear amber brown liquid, pours a white thin sticky head. the aromascape is thin with bitter malt, bread, citrus, floral/herby, some toffee and caramel, earth.. pretty shy and without depth. the taste is focused on the bitter side, with a crispy, slightly juicy kick. sweetness is focused in the back to support the bitterness, and a sour aftertaste rounds up the package. works nicely, but again isn’t really full or characteristic. the body is very thin and light, might have to say that it is too watery as well. dry and woody. has a cotton-like texture with an oily feel. starts off as a toffeeish bitter, but loses its focus quickly and becomes overly bitter and flat. a decent light caramel bitter, but nothing more unfortunately.

EithCubes (3042) - GERMANY - JAN 6, 2012
Clear glass bottle by July 2012. Pleasant and abundant ale fruitiness with caramel and toffee as accents, lightly yeasty with noble hops. Amber pour with a beige head. Taste is strongly bitter, crisp full body, very dry and woody with mine-dragging hops and light resin in the cracker-twinged finish. Fruitiness backed way off, the focus here on the hops. Mouth is left just bone-dry. Grunting and manly among the bitters I’ve had, manages to overcome a slight hollowness.

500ml bottle in an English pint. Pours amber with a fluffy, cream-colored head. Aroma of caramel malts, some grains, and a little bit of hops. Full on the flavors, but not very complex. A decent beer.
