(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London, 23 Nov) Dark amber colour with small head. Fruity nose with dried fruit (apricots, prunes). Fruity taste with dried fruit and a nice dash of earthy hops in the finish. Rather uncomplicated but a nice session ale.

Amber coloured. Low level foam. Sweet caramel aroma. Fresh hoppy taste and hints of dried fruit. Moderate palate. A bit dull (Half pint on gravity at the Ipswich Beer Festival, 22.09.2006).

Very nice brewed. The foam was nice and took a time to settle. The flavour was malty more than bitter.

Mid brown coloured and bitter. Plenty of malt in the finish.

Some hop aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and a little fruity with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Malt and hop aromas. Bronze coloured fruity and hoppy with a hint of bitterness in a dry and peppery malt finish.

Dark amber with a nutty aroma. Initially quite sweet, which develops into toffee and malts. Ends very dry and hoppy.

(cask at Oilver Twist, Stockholm) Hazy, dark amber colour with a mfirm white head. Malty aroma toffe, resin, light chocolate and butter. Strong but smooth flavour of light chocolate and cigarr. Long smooth resiny and resiny finish.

Rich honey, golden colour, with a creamy head. Malty, slightly sticky mouth feel. Complex malt base that provides interest.

Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Nut brown. Some mashed apples in the nose. Sweet and clean with medium to light body and a flowery, salty bitterish finish. A drinkable cask ale that offers nothing extra.
