Cask conditioned at The Chequers Inn, Oxford. Pinkish amber with white head. The aroma is certainly cherry, this foolows into the flavour, there is a sweet, largely artificial cherry flavour, perhaps a little cloying but actually quite reasonable. Late bitterness. Itís fine.

Cask @ Duke of Wellington, Halifax. Pours a pink colour but settles clear amber, has a small creamy head. Thereís certainly some cherry in both its aroma and flavour, but no more than a smattering. Light session style bitter.

Pint at Henry Addington canary wharf. Hazed attractive pinkish orange coloured pour with a lasting light pink head. Aroma is light tart, grainy, some berry fruits. Flavour is grainstore some tanin and medium sweet cherry fruit. Slightly artificial tasting fruit content. Middle of the road.

Cask by hand-pump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow - clear amber, a few bubbles, large creamy head, mild citrus aroma, excellent lacing, cherry prominent in the flavour, nicely balanced, good carbonation, easy to drink

On cask at the Haymarket Appearance -golden with a nice head. Nose - very faint cherry but mainly a lemon and malt. Taste - more of the same. The cherry sits nicely with the pale ale characteristics. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good and interesting ale.
