Cask, Slug and Lettuce, Leicester. Hazy pale golden with a bubbly white foam. Aromas are grassy, peppery and spicy with base biscuit malts. Lemon with hints of grapefruit and woody, floral notes. Flavours are crisp, clean citrus with pithy grapefruit bitterness and a peppery palate. Resinous lemon with a dry, hoppy finish. Very decent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Small white head. Clear yellow body. Light floral fruity aroma with gooseberry and bergamot notes. Dry-sweet grape and gooseberry taste with spicy grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, flat, faintly sharp mouthfeel. Dryish spicy orangey aftertaste with dusty straw and grape notes. Nice. Fresh, drinkable, and full of flavour. Amazing complexity for a beer this light.
