Cask. Clear gold with a long-lasting white cap. Faint aroma of hay and citrus. The taste does offer some nice hop character without much associated bitterness. Fairly light of body. OK overall but not really assertive in any way.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Theydon_Bois (2957) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2013
Cask at the William Webb Ellis, Twickenham, 12/04/13.
Clear pale golden with a thin haze that eventually clears. A well kept head of tightly packed white bubbles perches atop the beer.
Nose is pale malts, citrus, light grass, touch of hops but overall the nose is erring on the thin side.
Taste comprises lemon rind, grass, sugars, some hop presence.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smooth on the palate lending towards some light bitterness in the finish.
An adequate inoffensive GB that didn’t set my world alight but I could happily drink as a session beer if nothing else more interesting were on offer!
