The head is ok, the body cloudy and light. It smells a bit citrus yeasty. The taste is a bit boring, sweet-sour. Balanced, drinkable, but boring. 10/8/7/8/13/8

50cl bottle from a Co-op in Interlaken. Pale straw with a thin white head and lightly carbonated; aroma of cereal and straw; light and lively in the mouth with a grainy flavour; and a lightly bitter finish.

Draft and bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Pale malty and grainy with some nice grassy notes. Some slight diacetyl showed up once. Not bad.

Pours hazy light yellow with rich white head. Well carbonated. Strong grain aroma with yeasty tones, some floral aromas as well. Tart, acidy dry grass flavor. Acidy and full bodied on palate. Finishes with a dry bitter hoppy aftertaste.

(bottle, courtesy of Allen) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Distinctively grainy and slightly yeasty nose. Moderately sweet flavour, slim bodied with a medium carbonation. Soft malty and grainy, slightly mineralic taste; moderately dry and slightly hoppy and yeasty bitter finish. Drinkable but uninspired Zwickel. 21.IV.10

Bottle (Danke, Julian!): Hazy, pale golden, mid-sized white fluffy head; mineral water and a tinge of vegetables in the grainy nose; light - but a bit tart - sweet-bitter flavour; light bodied, short drier bitter-sweet finish with a yeasty touch. Drinkable, not great.......

Draught at Buddy’s Pub, Interlaken. Hazy yellow with a lively white head. Similar to the pils but noticeable diacetyl in this beer. Thin bodied. Fizzy finish. It’s drinkable when not much else for choice in the region.

The Dan Journal #268. Tasted 7/2/09. 500ml Bottle. Mildly hazy with a pale golden hue. Spiraling white head. Grainy cereal aromas with a hint of strawberries and faint hops. Light to medium bodied with a grainy malt note. Tight yet controlled effervescence. Faint citrus note. Dry finish that lingers on the tongue. Crisp and tasty.

Coloração dourada pálida, creme pouco denso e consistente, se desvanecendo rapidamente. Aroma e paladar quase inexistentes de lúpulo. Final amargo e metálico.

Bottled 50cl. It pours an extremely pale hazy yellow beer with a lasting white head. The nose is citrussy, malty with notes of chestnuts and soy sauce. Mediocre taste. Watery and grainy. Low bitterness. Astringent. Some lemon and lime showing up. Poor malt and hop profile. Light bodied and boring. Buttery finish. A bad Zwickel.
