3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bomber given to me by my in-laws. The pour is a hazed copper brown with a one inch light tan head. The aroma is slightly spiced grass hops, along with a bit of caramel cracker malt. The taste is a subdued balance between the grassy hops and the mildly sweet cracker malt. The palate is light to medium bodied with a bit of a harsh carbonation, with a mineral grain finish. Nice enough.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by GT. Amber colored pour with a white head. Floral and some citrus peel hops on the nose. Toffee, toast, cardboard, and tea. Kind of bland. The flavor is heavy on the tea and cardboard. Hints of toffee, plum, citrus peel, and floral hops.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
651mL from Total Wine Rancho. Pours a clear, deep red with weak tan foam. Nose is dusty, nutty, unsweetened raspberry tea. Taste is watery, raspberry tea. Weak palate with paper and unsweet tea. Disappointing. I think Iíll stick to their Golden Ale and Lager.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a nice version of a hoppy red ale, well balanced with a nice crisp finish. An easier drink with the 5.6% abv.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear deep amber with rocky head of fine off white foam. Rich Maillard medium-deep caramels dominate the aroma and are followed closely by pine and grapefruit aromas, some bitter dust, lightly creamy feel, slightly sweet, bits of cereal and biscuit. This is strong food companion candidate that would play well with fruity, acetic, citrusy salads as well as well crusted steaks, smokey barbecue and fatty pizza. Also like the sub 6 ABV.

Bomber from Bhensonb. Nose is caramel, light citrus, and a spicy note. Red orange with a big, long lasting beige head. Flavor is white peppery, light bitterness, and a slight lemony tartness.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours with a hazed copper hued body with an off-white head that fades. Aromas are of caramel and strongly citrusy cascade type hop profile. Lots of specialty malt character, medium to strong ester. Flavors are nutty and toasty, quite watery, a bit astringent, medium caramel. Much less hoppy than the nose. Fuller carbonation over a thin body.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (22 oz). Extra from jvillefan, thanks! Amber with a medium off-white head, good retention and heavy lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine, grapefruit, malt and slight spices. Taste is moderately sweet with grapefruit, pine, caramel, biscuity and moderate hoppy finish. Medium body. Slightly dry. Fresh. Good carbonation. Very good balance and pleasant to drink. Nice Amber Ale!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured two fingers of tight, foamy head on a deep red colored body.
The aroma is a rich malt/barnyard smell. One-side but nice.
The taste is bold: lots of malt sweetness with a dose of lemon bitterness to balance it out. The maltiness still comes out ahead in the end.
The texture is thicker with moderate carbonation.
A big malty red ale, enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 22-oz bottle. Presents a nice, clear orange with a minimal, quickly fading head. Nose is not complex, but very pleasant - non-overbearing citrusy hop scent; bright and clear, but not cutting. Taste is the same bright yet light citrus hops, with a touch of pine, smoothly fading to a very mildly sweet, bready malt that finishes nicely. Relatively high carbonation (appropriate for style), along with hop/malt balance, make this highly palatable. Pretty decent amber ale - Iíll go ahead and pick up a 4-pack of 16-oz cans, which I spotted when I bought the bottle at Liraís Supermarket in Meyers, CA.
