COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed using Cascade, Columbus and Chinook hops, California Grown malted barley and crystal malt. A mild caramel sweetness gives way to a fresh pine & grapefruit citrus note and balanced bitterness for a dry and refreshing but flavorful ale.

In the past, this beer is brewed by Peter Hoey using Hoppy Brewing Company’s equipment for Ruhstaller.

Nice new brewery out of sac being brewed by peter hoey. This is a nice drinking amber for sure. There is definitely a lack of aroma for the flavor it has to me. Nice taste and a great hop profile for an amber/red, lots of tropical and citrus with nice biscuity and caramel Malta, very English feel in the body and aftertaste, with some west cost twist, but not overdone in any way. Very clean amd classy, I enjoyed it more than I rated it.

Can from Cornelius. Hazy amber/brown body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of caramel, peppery biscuit and weak filter coffee. Flavour of caramel and apple. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Milder flavour than I was expecting - quite light and refreshing.

On tap at Gott’s Roadside in Palo Alto, CA. Pours a lovely red amber. Smells of fruited malts and hops. Tastes of mild fruit teas, honey, pine, malts. Overall a very enjoyable and sessionable malted IPA-like quality without being over-the-top.

22 oz bomber given to me by my in-laws. The pour is a hazed copper brown with a one inch light tan head. The aroma is slightly spiced grass hops, along with a bit of caramel cracker malt. The taste is a subdued balance between the grassy hops and the mildly sweet cracker malt. The palate is light to medium bodied with a bit of a harsh carbonation, with a mineral grain finish. Nice enough.

Bottle shared by GT. Amber colored pour with a white head. Floral and some citrus peel hops on the nose. Toffee, toast, cardboard, and tea. Kind of bland. The flavor is heavy on the tea and cardboard. Hints of toffee, plum, citrus peel, and floral hops.
