3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy amber brown with a good head in a very fancy sack wrapped bottle. Smokey boiled sweet hop aroma. Sweet hoppy flavour. Very smooth. Good but not worth the £14.30 I paid at Valhalla’s Goat for it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Over-ripe orange malt and grassy lemon peel aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Funky orange malt and moderately bitter grass and lemon peel flavor. Unique.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear, deep gold with a frothy white head.
Sweet, earthy, grass and grapefruit aroma.
Taste is slightly vegetal, malty, piney hops...
Might be a case of the power of suggestion, but I get the mushroom flavor as noted by brokensail as well.
Different, but quite pleasant.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It poured a straw color with a small white head. The aroma was of pine and some earthy notes with a little hot sauce. The taste was of grapefruit and pine bitterness. A different but good wet hop ale.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ Provisions Market. Golden pour with a white head. Really earthy hops. Lots of grass, dirt, and mushroom. A bit of funk, too. Meh. Bready malt and pine. Flavor is bitter and earthy. Lots of dirt and mushroom. Bread, pine, grass, and a mild malt sweetness. Not a fan.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A hop laden aroma with a hint of Brie cheese. The flavor is a sharp start and and smooth wet finish. A hint of grapes and honey in there

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours brilliant gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is a very different green leafy perhaps earthy hop. Med body or better. Flavor is very green herb/veg. Finish is that plus earth. Very different.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Capitol Beer. Pours dark gold with a transient off-white head and a rather strange earthy hop aroma. There is a medium-bodied caramel malt flavor with a moderately bitter hop finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden with thin lace of a head. Aroma of dank hops that are clearly fresh. Forward taste of of fresh dank hop that doesn't linger. Well balanced with malt. Not a huge fan of fresh hop beers but this is good for the style

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured over two fingers of head on a clear, medium straw colored body. Looking good.
The aroma is unique. It has the smell of a fresh cut habanero mixed with a little pine and dirt.
The taste has a moderate grapefruit and pine bitterness, fairly clean.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It’s a showcase of Californian hops (I’m still trying to figure out the actual varietal) and decent drink too.
