An orange colored ale made with California grown malted barley, munich malt and locally grown fresh picked Ivanhoe and Centennial hops (from the Kuchinski Ranch in Lake County). The hops went from field to brewkettle in a matter of hours bringin a fresh, grassy, and citrusy aroma and flavor to this once a year creation.

From notes. Tasted on 10/21/12 from a capped bottle wrapped in a burlap sack. Pours hazy dark orange with an average white head that leaves average lace. The nose is pretty non-descript, a bit nutty with some bread malt and very light dusty hops. The flavor is sweeter than I’d like with the same nutty bread malt and very light and lightly bitter dusty hops. The body is medium with just under average carbonation and a short, lightly dusty finish.

22oz bottle - Aroma - citrus rind and pine needles, subtle background of fruit cocktail syrup. Appearance - clear golden body, 3-4 finger white head, medium retention, light lacing Mouthfeel - full bodied, medium-high carbonation, tons of bubbles, perhaps too much carbonation for the style Flavor - like drinking fresh cut grass clippings soaked in grapefruits. Toasted/caramel malts are present to balance the beer, but it is hop forward. Overall - a tasty beverage, some really nice flavors going on here. Easy to drink. The burlap sack thing was cool.

Bomber. Cool bottle, lame beer. Has a funky taste, is it butter or vanilla? Just can't figure this one out. Unbalanced and mostly a hot mess. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2013 Bottle. Hop, toast, and honey aroma. Taste is a little bitter, kinda watery, long pine finish. This is a great example of thinking a beer will be awesome cause the label and being disappointed.

Sampled at an esbls. Interesting gunny sack bottle cover. Clear golden and a little like a champagne appearance. Very soft aroma has fruit and yeast. Flavorvis more robust and active in the mouth. Pale malts with caramel, noble hops with grapefruit citrus. This grows in bitterness. I like it much more than I expected to.

Clear golden beer. Woody hop earthy smell. Nice hop bitter bite that slowly fades. The earthyness sticks around a bit extra.

Bomber from Nugget. Pours a light copper, no lacing. Aroma is weak flora, citrus. Taste is musty, earthy. A different tasting beer, light. I want to like it, but won't buy it again.
