3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was obviously a brown color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated immediately. No lacing.
The aroma starts off with some sweet nutty/caramel malts. Light roast with some clean grassy hops.
The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned aromas and builds to a sweet bready to grassy flavor. Lingering rolling toasty aftertaste. Sly roasty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light.
Overall, it’s a pretty good brown ale. Everything fits.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taster at the Great Lost Bear - Poured a clear brown amber in color with a small tan head. Aroma was of roasted malts and floral hops. Flavor was similar... not as sweet as I expected and the hops and roasty flavors dominate. A decent brown...
