3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Light chestnut-amber coloured with a small off-white head; caramelly-toasty nose with a certain - like in many english ales - fruitiness; average sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; drier caramelly and bitter finish. Quite O.K. ....

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Seehas restaurant in Konstanz. Beautiful amber (surprisingly pale) beer with a great nicely lasting head. Perfectly balanced. Very interesting. A lot going on in this one. Extremely pleasant. Thanks Quack-Duck!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(bottle) Quite pale Dunkel as it is “only“ amber-coloured with a medium, not very persistent, slightly off-white foamy head. Discreet aroma of light-sweet malt, slightly toasty with a touch of honey and shy notes of herbal hops and diacetyl. Moderately sweet flavour, toast-malty, slightly bready taste with light notes of honey and again diacetyl; slightly sweet malt-accented finish with a minimal bitterness. Disappointing brew from an otherwise reliable brewer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber colour, few head, soon disappearing. Malty aroma with a caramel note. The flavour is dominated by roasted maltiness, with a nice hoppy finish with traces of bitter almonds. Good and pleasant.
