Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Amber color. Maltaroma with toffee. Malty sweetish flavor with tropical fruits. Pleasant, very drinkable beer.

Bottle. Toffee malt and tin aroma. Clear dark amber color with nice tan head. Lightly sweet toffee malt flavor. Watery body. Nice flavor but way too light.

Embrouille (2827) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 5, 2009
Draught at Seehas restaurant in Konstanz. Beautiful amber (surprisingly pale) beer with a great nicely lasting head. Perfectly balanced. Very interesting. A lot going on in this one. Extremely pleasant. Thanks Quack-Duck!

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear red-amber colour with a little beige foam; aroma of caramel, red fruits and paperboard; medium-bodied, a light bitterness, very dry malty and caramelish finish - atypical

bottle. Dark brown colour, large head. Malty flavours, hints of roasted malt and caramel. Quite hoppy as well.

MoritzF (8493) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2007
(bottle) Quite pale Dunkel as it is “only“ amber-coloured with a medium, not very persistent, slightly off-white foamy head. Discreet aroma of light-sweet malt, slightly toasty with a touch of honey and shy notes of herbal hops and diacetyl. Moderately sweet flavour, toast-malty, slightly bready taste with light notes of honey and again diacetyl; slightly sweet malt-accented finish with a minimal bitterness. Disappointing brew from an otherwise reliable brewer.

Dark amber colour, few head, soon disappearing. Malty aroma with a caramel note. The flavour is dominated by roasted maltiness, with a nice hoppy finish with traces of bitter almonds. Good and pleasant.
