COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of our favorite styles, this ale is a hop explosion. Light in color, heavily hopped in the kettle as well as conditioned with several unique hop varieties. This creates a beautiful floral/citrusy nose which is balanced well by a smooth and full finish.

12 oz bottle that says DEC WK 3. It pours a nice pale gold with the slightest hint of peach. The head is foamy, soapy, and white. It leaves some decent lacing. The smell is really lacking. It is sweet with not too much hops. Maybe it is an old bottle. The taste has a slight bit of hops, subtle bitterness, it is fruity, malty and sweet. This is weak, very weak. On tap at the cedar cultural center. Beer is an amber caramel color with a nice and relatively thick white head. Aroma is resin hops with some earthy funk and floral qualities. Malts are yeasty. Taste is similar, though the bitterness of the hops comes through more. Malts are definitely bready and yeasty, almost redolent of sourdough. Nice integration, though the beer is less elegant and more robust in this regard. Palate balances a nice creaminess against the bitter hops. Very decent beer.

Surprisingly golden and foamy. Surprisingly sweet round aroma. Bubblegum and maybe even banana are amidst the hop aromas. Stephanie chimes in and says it tastes like french fries. It’s the biscuit, caramel sweetness, and probably some wheat that makes this odd for an ipa. Stephanie says it has the aftertaste of the aftertaste of french fries. Mouth feel is consistent with the foam.

Nice orange pour with white head from bottle, aroma of citrus, touch of pine, floral, herbal notes. Taste is some citrus, pine, herbal notes, with a caramel and biscuit middle, slightly bitter and sweet finish.

12oz bottle picked up at the Historic Casanova Liquors in Hudson, WI on my way back from Minneapolis. Pours a crystal clear, pale golden colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is crisp with sweeter florals, hay, and a some citrus. Light, balancing caramel maltiness with a hint of toast and grain. Flavor is similar. Crisp citrus florals and some earthy hay with a light, creamy caramel malt to balance. Finishes dry, crisp, and moderately bitter with some resiny pines making their way in. Medium, smooth, creamy body and soft, medium-high carbonation. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. Well balanced and easy drinking. Nothing crazy here, but lots of fresh, crisp hops and a light, creamy maltiness made this enjoyable.

Bottle. Pour is a cloudy golden yellow orange with a sticky head. Aroma yeast malt with some faint piny hops. Taste is more yeast and hops and malt, very unique. Palate is sticky and dry. This ia an interesting IPA, by no means is it bad just out of the rhelm that I am used too. KInd of reminds me of a Belgium style IPA.

not a bad ipa, but for sure not one of my favorites. decent color and good head retention. somewhat citrus-y with decent bumps of hop bitterness. I think the flavor of the hops could be much better and was slightly disappointed. overall an ok ipa but not one I would reach for often

Pretty drinkable IPA. More floral than bitter hops, some malty sweetness, dryness waits til end.

bottle thanks to my favorite person, allendodd. Pours golden yellow, clear. Thick foamy head. Aroma of honey, hops, flowers, citrus... not overpowering but nice and balanced. Nice green bitterness with sweet finish. Slightly dry. Good mouthfeel. Good beer! I’ve let this one sit a while and it has a nice mellow taste for an IPA. Probably a lot greener fresh, but it wears its age well. I think I prefer it as is.

5/21/10. 12oz bottle into a tulip. Pours a light yellow/orange with a fluffy tight white head that laces pretty well. The aroma is a bit musty with some citrus and malt. The flavor is sweet citrus with plenty of bitter kick and a nice pale malt backing.
