Aroma of roasted malt, mild caramel and light sweet malt. Taste of mild chocolate, milk sugar, roasted dark malt and perhaps a hint of coffee. Seemed very thin and had a mild chalky finish. Pours a clear dark cola brown brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of toasted dark malt, some lactose, oatmeal, chocolate and a hint of coffee. Taste is medium bodied, a little gritty at first with flavors of toasted dark malt, chocolate some floral hops and some powdered sugar. Finish is semi-sweet, a little metallic texture with a slight oatmeal/lactose aftertaste.
