COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Proud to announce the recent brewing of our Summer Seaonal, the Double Bubble Imperial India Pale Ale. We loaded our mashtun with as much grain as possible and then added copious amounts of honey along with twice the hops. It smells and samples like heaven.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of bread, citrus and yeast. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, lemon zest, light yeast and light earthiness with a crisp dry moderately bitter finish.

This one tasted too much like mashed mangos with alcohol. I’ve had much better tasting and drinkable double IPAs. Price is good though for a double.

A cloudy orange beer with a medium off-white head. The aroma is citrus and earthy funk. The flavor is strong malt, lots of citrus, some pine.

Pours a hazy amber with a small white head and lots of white particles. Aroma of honey, floral, citrus, and sweet malts. Taste is grapefruit, lemon zest, floral, light honey, sweet malts, and very bitter. The bitterness lasts throughout and finishes the same way. Body was medium to full.

Cloudy gold pour with a 1 finger creamy white head and a bunch of protein floaties. Aroma is citrus candy, floral hops, Crystal malt sweetness, lime and a little toast. Flavor is big on citrus, starts out like blood oranges and lime, floral hops, a little planty spice, caramel, toast, biscuit, and a faint medicinal note. Medium body, syrupy to slick feel and light to medium carbonation. Good stuff, I could see people being grossed out by the amount of floaties, but I guess it doesn’t bother me. The palate could use some work and the medicinal notes in the finish knock it back a peg though.

Aroma is pine, citrus and slightly perfumed fruit. The flavor is citrus, light grapefruit, fruit/candy, mild honey notes, biscuit malts and a mix of bitter and dry in the finish.

Hazed light gold, creamy short head, light lace. Citrusy bready aroma.Slight floral and fruit. Taste is sharp tangy citrus with full body wheat like bready malt. Very bitter citrus grassy tart. Overall not real impressive for a double ipa. Only honey I get in this seems to be kind of a slightly funky earthiness to it, yet has a tart citrus which is probably just from the hops.

Draught at The Blue Door (Longfellow) in Minneapolis. Semi-strong citrusy nose. Hazy but very bright gold/amber color. Thick caramel and chewy hops, citrus, and overripe peaches. Medium body. Very tasty. Just a bit cloying. But good enough.
