4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very Hazy Dark Orange Color; About as unfiltered as you can get in terms of appearance. It has a well balanced assortment of Cloves, Bubblegum, Toffee, Yeasts, Malts and Floral Hop flavors. Palate is very heavy along with the carbonation, which can hurt or help the drinkability depending on how you look at it. A very good beer from Rush River, they have yet to let me down with a crappy beer

Decent amber ale, good hop aroma and flavor, sweet malts, a bit under carbed but tasty.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, grain, and caramel. Flavor is a lot of biscuit, grain, caramal, earthy notes, orange lemon, and caramel, with hop presence more subdued than description. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Not great overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice amber. Hop aroma is surprisingly good. The balance is a little off, perhaps slightly under carbonated, but otherwise the caramel is a little unbalanced (water profile I think rather than hop bitterness).

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12-oz. Thanks, B! Pours a cloudy medium amber with a loose off-white head that falls quickly away, leaving light drippy lace. Nose shows some sweet caramel and faint hints of aluminum and CO2. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel mid palate, with not too much else happening there. Nice little understated amber, a tiny bit on the sweet side.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a cloudy orangish amber with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was of sweet malts and piney hops. Taste had both malt and hop (piney) on the front side with a moderate hop bitterness finish. Palate was pretty good - good dense viscosity. Overall a nice amber in the vein of Sam Adams Boston lager.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - RB ate my rating on this beer--I swear I rated it. Luckily I have an awesome memory and remember I gave it a 3.8. Came off as very biscuity, with a nice herbal hopping, light citrus note, and a smooth malty finish. Would definitely drink again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 Had a nice amber color in the pour and everything else was similar to most other amber ales.
