750ml bottle thanks to yobdoog, shared with Ed5388. Poured a medium density pitch black with an aversge at best big bubbly deep beige head. Aroma of acetone, black olives, bad chocolates, lemon and cherry. Flavor is better than aroma, light dark chocolate notes, burnt toast, dark cherry and lemon juice, slight band aid on the back end, burnt marshmallows. Body is meh, a bit thin for how big the beer is and carbonation is average. Meh its okay.

mcclainc50 (186) - New York, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Pours a very dark black/brown with a tan head leaving a little lacing. Aroma is subtle, roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Thin mouthfeel for an imperial stout, but good flavor, coffee and chocolate with strong roasted malt flavor on the backen, bit of a coppery flavor in there that takes a little away from the beer. Overall pretty good if it was a little thicker.

Shared bottle. Pours deep, dark brown with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, some chocoalte and coffee, some earthy hops, and faint drk fruit notes. Flavor is heavy on the roast malt and milk chocolate flavors with medium dark chocolate and earthy hop bitterness to balance things out before smoothing out to a dry finish with a slight hint of residual sweetness. Medium body and carbonation.

750 ml bottle purchased at Dave’s Bellport Cold Beer & Soda. Pours black with transparent deep red edges when held against the light. There is a skim coat of tan for a head with virtually no carbonation and leaves no lace. Pleasant aroma of bittersweet chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt and prunes with some notable booziness present as well. Mild bitterness at the finish. Medium-full bodied.
