COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Naysayer Pale Ale is a west coast styled pale ale that has a more hoppy character than most IPA’s. It has a modest ABV, medium-light body and 33 IBUs which helps it maintain the drinkability of a great pale ale.

On draught at Circus Cafe in Saratoga Springs, NY. Arrived a very lightly hazed antique gold with a thin-moderate white head that lasted until the first quarter of the glass and left light lace. Very pleasant aroma of grapefruit with notes of pine. The flavor is pale malt that is quickly washed over by some grapefruit pith bitterness. Medium bodied.

Least favorite of the rushing duck offerings but then again I’m not big on pale ales.

Nice floral hop aroma with some citrus. Flavor has quite a bit of malt but enough hop balance. Good pale ale overall. The malt has a slight "home brew" extract to it but not too detracting. Still a good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler poured an orange amber color with a one finger white head that retaned very well. Aroma has mild bitterness, citrus, some resins, and a decent bit of malt for the style. Mouth feel is medium and the carbonation is good. Nice coating for a pale ale. Flavor brings out a bit more bitterness, citrus, resins, and again a fair bit of malts. Very well balanced and borders on being an ipa with a pleasant lingering finish. Solid offering for a new brewery.
