3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml brown bottle. Medium gold pour, some light haze. Head is big and white. Nose has citrus and pineapple notes. Taste has some sweet malts, a bit boozy and slightly hot alcohol, citrus hops. Finishes with some mixed citrusy hops and lingering alcohol, good lingering bitterness. Medium body, fine pointed carbonation. A pretty good effort from Russell, better than most things they do. If you lean toward big sweeter heavier Double IPA’s this is in your alley. I find it a bit unpolished.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine is pretty intense with light caramel malt notes also noticeable. Taste is also pretty heavy on the citrus notes with plenty of piney hoppy notes with some lightly sweet caramel malt that can be detected and a bitter finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Enjoyable but unfortunately a tad too sweet for my taste.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Golden orange pour with a pillowy off-white head. Tons of hops, with a mixture of citrus and tropical fruit notes, nicely balanced with malts. Nothing incredible, but definitely an enjoyable DIPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is all about the hops. Pours a stunning orange with white head. Great citrus and tropical fruit aromas. There is some citrus sweetness to this but the hop assault soon takes over. Very bitter.. But very good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I like this, oakbluff :) light amber body. Off white head and lacing. Really nice aroma of resin citrus bread and pine. Taste is sweet and a touch of hoppy bitterness and some booze heat. Nice.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber- cloudy tangerine with a very fluffy white head. Nose- tropical fruits, slight pine. taste- fairly astringent, woody hop flavour with some peach. Not as sweet as expected, drinks quite cleanly just too astringent for my tastes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours orange/gold with thick foam. Smells of oranges, tangerines. Tastes very citruisy with a kick of hops. Bitter aftertaste. Decent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden-bronze colour. Thin head. The aroma is cantaloupe and grapefruit with light pine and a lot of chewy crystal sweetness. On the palate it has a fair bit of chewiness but has a sweet candied fruit character, with light alcohol. Good brew, balanced.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, golden amber with dissipating white head. I’m not so sure about this bottle. Aroma has mild apricot, sweet bready malt, I literally don’t smell hops in this. Taste of mild toffee malt, very very subtle hops, and rubbing alcohol. Medium body. Seemed more like a lackluster double pale ale (the hops are almost hidden completely - where’s the India in DIPA?). Based on the reviews (and the reviewers), I don’t think there’s a lot of consistency with the product.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Citrus resinous nose, rich and sticky on the palate but with a positive comforting afterglow of fullness and flavour.
