1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
pours watery light yellow, smallish quickly dissipating head, some lacing. 1st sip in an ice chilled glass, very crisp (due to the temp). 4th sip after 3 minutes, tastes a bit metallic (copper), minor grains (wheat, bread) and a very very faint lemony aroma with a bit of sour citrus. Light-bodied, low complexity, low depth. Too plain, too boring.

Very light color. Nice lemon taste, but unfortunatelly very watery, too. Not necessarily recommend.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lemon is strong in the floral and lightly grainy aroma. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a thin white head that lasts wetland laces nicely. Refreshing lemon blends well with biscuity cereal malt character and moderate crisp bitterness that keeps the sweetness in check. Light body with pleasant strong carbonation. Sampled on tap at the Black Frog in Gastown.

Lemon coloured, lemon aroma, lemon taste... who knew?
Too malty with the lemon flavour, kind of an odd taste, methinks this would work better as a lager.

GCBF 2010. Pale yellow gold. No mistaking the lemon aroma and flavour here! Very lemony! Missing the tartness I had expected, and came off as artificial. Not my thing.

Blond color; creamy head. Surprisingly... Lemon aroma. Dry Lager, poor flavor, with a disturbing lemon presence. Strong bitterness. Bah.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can shared with mabel & jerc. Clear yellow-gold with a small white head. Strong artificial lemon aroma, with dirty yeast notes in the background. Thin bodied. Flavour has a lot of lemon, much less artificial than the aroma suggests (yeah, I thought just the opposite of jerc...). Not amazing, but relatively refreshing.

[1782-20081015] 355 can. Artificial lemon-lime aroma has a hint of lemon Pledge cleaner fluid. Clear, yellow orange body with quick white bubbles. Flavour is lemon slices and a little yeast. Light body has some bubbles and acidity. Interesting to try but not in a repeatable way.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
2008-10-15. Golden body with a small white ehad. Big lemony aroma, lemon juice notes. (6+) Flavour is very lemony, but seems a touch more artificial than did the aroma, not much of a base beer. (6+) Average to light body. Actually not bad, shandy like, but has not much depth to it. Could see this being a summery cocktail?

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It’s been years since I tried this one at its prime, when it first came out. I had it more recently and it was horrible--either the recipe changed or it was served poorly. I recall loving the graham cracker-like flavor, making the beer taste like lemon merangue pie. One step above most BC summer ales. Surprisingly nuanced for what it is, and highly drinkable.
