Golden color. An Ale, bland, with very light caramel flavor and no aroma. Correct bitterness, but absence of hop qualities.

An amber ale with a tin light moka head. Aroma of light metallic hops, and caramel extract. In mouth, a nutty caramel malt, veering on brown ale with some faint grassy hops, like Rickards Red with a bit more malt. Not bad, but rather pedestrian. Can from MLCC, courtesy of Piscator. Thanks Kris.

Can: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light citrus hops with medium sweet caramel malt. Taste is blander then expected with light hoppy notes of citrus with a sweeter then expected malt backbone. Body is a bit thin with good carbonation. Not very remarkable overall.

Canned sample. Brownish-copper in colour with medium carbonation. Mild aromas of tangerine and Christmas orange, followed up by both sweet and toasted malts. Flavors are of juicy sweet citrus, honey, sunflower seeds, and a hit of dark caramel. Fairly heavy and slick in the mouth, with only a hint of bitterness on the finish. Not bad overall, but very toned down in the hop bitterness and aroma department.

Can shared with mabel & jerc. Copper colour with a small white head. Aroma is malt-forward, somewhat grainy and toasty, with a faint sourness. Flavour - yeah, I think this is infected. Seems like it could be a decently balanced ale, but there’s a crazy funky/lemony lambic-like sourness going on. Yikes.

[1783-20081015] 355 can. Grainy aroma has something funky in it. Slightly hazy, brown orange body with a quick bubbly off-white head. Funk lemon flavour hints with mild yeast. Light-medium body. Something young and funky about it.
<i>Overheard: "It’s kind of a lame lambic."</i>

2008-10-15. Crisp golden orange body with a small white head. Funky tart lemon aroma is a bad start, and carries over to the flavour. Light fruit touches and barely there malt. Average to thin palate. Signs of QC issues. Can shared by GregClow

A slightly fruity and flavoursome pale ale, a little sweet on the finish like a Belgian ale but with a more North American taste. An interesting beer, well worth a try.
