3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A - Served a clear bright copper-orange color with a thin ring of white head around the top. The head fades down quickly but leaves behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of light sweet malts with a touch of honey sweetness and some spice. There is also a touch of hops and floral elements mixed in as well.
T - Starts off with a mix of light citrus hops and some sweetness from both the caramel malts and the honey. Through the middle, some more hops as well as some light spices come through. The finish is a mix of citrus and earthy hops and a touch of bitterness alongside the sweetness from that malts.
M - Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. The beer felt very smooth and crisp without being watery or too thin.
D - Very drinkable. The balance between all of the various flavors here is very nice with out feeling empty or muddled. It is a great approachable beer for new craft beer drinkers as well as a great way to start off the night.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at RR... Really light straw, clear, almost pissy, light off white head... Really dead nose, light citrus... Taste is really herbal and lemon, big bitter bite you’re not expecting, but still on the lighter and boring side... Ok

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brew pub, served in a tasting glass. Pours clear straw with a moderate white head. The head remains and leaves a moderate amount of lace. On the nose, there are soft citric hops, pale malts, and flowers. The aroma is surprisingly IPA-like. The flavour is much smaller than expected from the aroma: lightly sweet, acidic and bitter, it becomes moderately bitter towards the end. The finish is average in length with lots of pale malts and subtle Cascade-esque hops. On the palate, it is light in body, with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is an interesting ale that has an IPA-like aroma and the body of a pale golden ale. The nose led me to expect more from the body. 2011-06-09

sample from Russian River Brewpub. Color is light yellow with a white head. Aroma is clean with a little bit of spice. Taste is clean as well, with notes of citrus and some mild spiciness from the hops. Well balanced with the malts. Palate is light bodied with medium carbonation. Overall a good "light" beer from RR.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap, brewpub. Soft bready notes reminiscent of a helles. Body has snappy effervescence, light throughout. Biscuity notes are forefront, followed by hop bitterness that is exaggerated by the lightness of it all.
