beastiefan2k (1120), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jul 7, 2008 Big thanks to golubj. Pours cyrstal clear golden/yellow with a small but strong head. Aroma is lightly bread-y malts with light earthy hops. Taste is a nicely dry with a nice blend of pils malt and lightly sweet white-bread maltiness. Also has a lightly bitter and very calm hoppy finish. I really like it, easy drinking with a pils/Belgian mix. Growler form brewpub.
FlssmrBrewAlum (245), South Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, USA Oct 8, 2008 Sampler at the RR Brewpub (Santa Rosa, CA). Poured with a straw yellow body, sizable head for the time it sat. Mellow sweetness on the nose and in the taste. Sweetness reminds of bready cakey light sweetness mixed with just a splash of bittering. Smooth and simple, a good "Gateway" beer for many and a brewe my girlfriend liked a bunch. oakbluff (226), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Sep 27, 2008 On tap at RR brewpub. Pours a very light straw colour, good clarity. Nose- light grassy and citrus. Taste- light bodied, medium carbonation, mild biscuit flavour with a lemon finish. fakepurseninja (547), Sammamish, Washington, USA Sep 24, 2008 Light straw body, light hops on the nose. Slightly bready body with minimal citrus and yeast components. slimchill (656), Austin, Texas, USA Sep 20, 2008 Draught. Straw and hop nose. Light butter notes. Clear pale gold with no head. Strong pilsner malt character, straw/grass with a bit of hop character and some fruit esters, mostly grapes. Tart finish. Nice texture, dry. SuzyGreenberg (1044), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 27, 2008 draft @ brewery - straw gold and clear and again with no head; aromas are a grassy mix of lemons, citrus and mild hops; drinks dry with pleasant semi-sweet finish; a little on the bland side, but that’s easy to be against the rest of the menu
