Aud Blonde may be the lightest colored beer we have ever brewed at Russian River Brewing Company, but don't be fooled into thinking that this beer is light in flavor. It has a refined characteristic, which can be contributed to us blending pilsner malt with a unique hop called crystal. The distinctive characteristic of the crystal hop lends a citrus, almost eucalyptus quality in the aroma and mouth feel of the brew, while leaving the beer with a long dry finish.

this review was done on a coaster. I wrote: vinegar urine smell. clear piss appearance. golden like the hair on dennis rodman in the movie double team where him woody harrelson or woody like character are in a subway. I’m not too fond of subways

Draft at the brewery with Linh. Pours a clear golden body with no head. Aroma is muted overall - light spice and grass. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of grass, clean malt, soft grain and bread. Light overall.

On tap at Russian River. Aroma is of light cereal grains with a touch of sweetness and very nice floral hop notes. Pours a light straw color, white head has good retention and leaves lots of lacing. Nice Pils malt notes, low/medium bitterness, some citrus, finish is clean and dry. Light body, medium carbonation.

Tap at Zeitgeist. Pours a straw yellow with a white head. Nose has wheat, hay, spices and cloves. Pretty floral nose. Taste is easy going - Belgium yeast and herbal spices combing with a dry floral bitterness. Another decent session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"better than most blondes, but still a blonde. the addition of hops adds a little to the flavor level and aroma, but this one suffers in comparison to other great RR beers."

Draft sampler pour at Face to Face Beerfest ( f2f.org ): brightest clarity, lightest brass, with mixed bubbles, lacing. Light-bodied. Sweet malt, hints of gravel; crispy & firm finish that dries out with hoppy resin note.
