COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aud Blonde may be the lightest colored beer we have ever brewed at Russian River Brewing Company, but don't be fooled into thinking that this beer is light in flavor. It has a refined characteristic, which can be contributed to us blending pilsner malt with a unique hop called crystal. The distinctive characteristic of the crystal hop lends a citrus, almost eucalyptus quality in the aroma and mouth feel of the brew, while leaving the beer with a long dry finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. The nose has biscuits, hay, cereal, pale grains. Light sweet flavor with moderate pale grain husk bitterness, more hay, dry cereal, wheat, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, with more grassy bitterness, grain husk, hay. Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white lacing and lively carbonation. Smells of mild biscuit aalongside a touch of hops. Tastes like it smells, but more bitter than biscuity. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied and fairly dry. Not bad, but unmemorable.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave good lace. Aroma and taste of nice bready grain with good citrus hop notes. Soft bitterness that leaves quickly, really nice for hop lovers.

Draft to taster at RR brewpub Hay and very light funk. Yellow, very clear, white head, good lacing. Hops, wheat, grapefruit. It’s too bitter without some good malt balance.

Sampler at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Hazy golden color with small white head. Some grapefruit, floral-herbal, grainy-malty. A nice dry golden Ale, but well... Not my style again.
