Batch 001. Pours a dark amber with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma has a nice oaky funkiness with a linger citric tartness. Very dry and brut champagne-like. Probably could have used a bit more carbonation. Another kick-ass creation from Vinny at RR.

PH1 acquired directly at the brewery about a year ago. Pours clean and simple with a nice thick head that dissipates quickly. Nice tight carbonation. Sour and brett up in the front of the tongue, super clean finish at the end. Very wonderfully complex, low alcohol and drinkable. 10/10 on the belgian "digestability scale". Outstanding.

(Bottle, PH1, courtesy of Walt) Pours a hazy golden orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, oak, and sour funkiness. Flavor is of sour organic lemony funkiness and with a subtle dry, oak finish. Thanks for sharing Walt!

RBSG 2007 Overnight Tasting - Hazed dark gold, fizzy white head. Nose was loaded with deep lemony oak notes with additional underlying tones of citrus and honey. Well integrated sour oak flavors sit softly on on a base of citrusy (grapefruit), lemon and sweet honey notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry, sour oaken finish. Freakin awesome! Thanks for sharing Walt...

Batch PH1. Courtesy dsnowden. Poured a murky dark straw color with an even, thin off-white head. Mellow funky aroma with deep tart notes within. Nice tannic aromas present also. Intense sour taste aided by a pleasant tannic finish. A superbly executed Flemish Sour.

Batch PH1. Aroma when the bottle is opened is not subtle, causing me to salivate almost immediately. Head settles in, almost protectively. Aroma in the glass is full on funky. Citrus, hay, grass, sour cherries, hints of spice and that barnyardy funk. One taste and I know I may have just consumed a once in a lifetime beer. I have to paraphase boboski, it was so tart it hurt, you could feel the back of your jaw ache in ecstasy. Flavor is simply amazing.

PH1 - Deep beautiful dark golden to amber body, huge big bubbled yellowish head falling quite fast; Fresh very bretty nose, almost a bit closed or not yet perfectly settled, at least it doesn’t have the perfectness that I expected, lemon grapefruit like very fruity touch, but it also has something malty/grainy sweet, the barrel aromas are a bit to present: Huge soft carbonation in a soft textured body, it has quite a bit of very mild lactic acid and quite a bit of sweetness; The finish is long, starts out quite lactic and bretty dry, but it never truly reveals itself and slowly mellows out dry and sweet, lots of aroma, barrel, lemon etc but they never reveals them self either. It seems very much like a wine that is drunk to young or at a moment where it is closed. I expected more from this beer and I am sure it has it, I just popped the bottle at the wrong time. Thanks 1000000000 Walt.
