1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Thanks to Ramenen. Bottle: First try of this Champaign like style. Nose is awkward, extremely fizzy body and taste is like mineral water with Alka Seltzer. I´ll have to explore this style further to appreciate it.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Batch #6 (I think) bottle from trade, dated 9/11/13. Pours to my tulip a light yellow golden color with a small fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Aroma is nice tart lemon, yeast funk, some pleasant citrus-like sweetness, light vinegar (very light on that note), apricots, lots of lacto acidity. Flavor is a nicely balanced sweet and sour lemon, lots of lactic tartness, dry oak, dry dusty Geuze-like qualities yet a nice sweet citrus character to balance. Some wine like qualities with Sauvignon blanc type of acidity. Light bodied with high carbonation and a crisp finish. This is really nice, but I can’t ever see paying $18 for a small bottle myself. Differentiating sour beers is tough I guess. With that said no doubt I would drink this again. Yum.

Flaska med amerikanskt datum 011012. Trade (thanks stupac2).

pours golden yellow with thin, quickly dissipating head. Sour aroma with citrus, stone fruit - particularly apricot and peach, Mild hay and must smells. Taste is very tart, fruity, hay, and mild brett funk. Mouthfeel is on the thin side, but not too thin. Amazingly great beer

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
375ml bottle from someone. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazed straw yellow with almost no head. Aromas of lemony funk, oak, crotch cheese. Taste is tart with flavors of sharp cheese, citrus and body funk. Finishes with a pretty good pucker factor and a lasting mouth watering sourness. Very lactic. Kind of sweaty. Very decent, but no where near the best.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Sample at SF Beer Week Opening Gala 2014 and a couple of glasses at the brewery.
Hazy golden with a minimal head. The aroma was really great with funk, oak, fruit and hay. The taste was also a winner. Balanced and elegant with funk, oak, fruit, some light berries, hay and with a nice sourness. Light body and low carbonation. Easy to drink, an excellent beer. I guess that this one was the best one during my visit to SF in February 2014.

Bottle shared at RBWG grand tasting! Pours a hazy yellow with minimal white head that leaves light lace. Amazingly clean taste for a sour, refreshing and light but still bold. Definitely gonna have to try this again!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, Batch 06. Aroma is dominated by barnyard funk, faint lactic acid, toasted oak, green apples, pineapple and some tea. Definitely less funky than some Belgian lambics, but really nice mix of citrus and hay. Pours clear golden color with medium head that hangs out a bit. Flavor is fruity at first, with the green apple, pineapple, very faint melon. Once the fruit plays out the sour kicks in, and it’s definitely a cheek turner. The funk is on the lower spectrum with more citrus coming through. Almost candied-lemon. Once it warms out more of the oak comes through the taste. The body is somewhat full for a sour, with high carbonation. The finish is citrus forward with sharp tartness that lingers. Though, the sour quality seems a bit more extreme as it warmed, it was surprisingly well balanced for a majority of the glass. Nice complexities, but it breaks down to a pretty citric forward sour.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
375ml bottle shared in a hotel room - pours a clear yellow with a vanishing white head. Sour lemon and oak aromas. Astringent citrus, sugary sweetness followed by a huge sour finish that truly leaves you puckering. Liquid gold gone sour, this is a personal favorite of mine.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is hazy yellow with a finger-wide white head. Aroma is sour with notes of barnyard, bitter funk, white pepper, lemon, oak, and musk. Flavor of lemon drops, slight acidity, oak, herbal, grass, and yeast. Extremely sour tongue.
