Bottle from Monument Liqours in Concord, CA. Smelled of citurs hops. If you like hops this is the beer for you. Citurs hops dominated the flavor and very even feel on the palate. Good brew!!

Bottle shared by cdumler at the 2008 Richmond Summer Gathering in Williamsburg. Thanks Chris! Pours an amber color with a smallish head. Taste and aroma are both full of big citrus and earthy hops. Bitter and full bodied.

On tap at O’Brians RBSG. Pine and grapefruit nose, floral but still sharp. Pours gold with a white head. Sharp hop flavor, very dry and crisp which amplified the sharpness. Good IPA, but a palate scraper from the bitterness.

From tap at Pizza Port in San Clemente. Pours cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Fruity hops aroma, light peachy quite inviting. Solid grapefruit and mild peach hoppy flavour. Dry and slight bitter spiced finish. Smooth and greatly balanced.

Thanks to DTM for the bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. This brew had a nice hoppy hit on the palate (pure citrus, mainly grapefruit). It’s tough to give it perfect marks because the bitterness lingered, although controlled, which could have been intentional. It lacked any maltiness, but I wasn’t expecting much in that department.

Bottle thanks to Eric. Pours a clear golden body with a thin white head. The aroma is awesome; citrus hops and I mean tons of hop goodness. The taste was more mellow; a smooth sweet hop flavor, some grapefruit and sweet malts. Easygoing and very tasty.

Bottle at RBSG grand tasting. Thanks to whoever brought this.Pours a cloudy yellow with an ample white head. The aroma was green with chlorophyll hops and a bit of pine. The flavor was biter hops forward with pine and tangy grapefruit. The mouthfeel is full and malty. The finish is long with lingering hops. Overall: This is a superbly well crafted IPA, biter but not harshly so. Another winner.

(From 8-3-08 sampling, thanks to who shared with everyone!) Transparent orange yellow in color, white ring around the glass for a head, hops and earth on the nose. His the mouth with a high-light body, hops come in the middle and last to the finish, a small tangy note on the finish. Pleasureable.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a thin and lacy white head. Medium-to-light body and moderate carbonation. Grapefruit, floral and resin aroma. Sweet taste of caramel and oranges. Crisp finish. Nice stuff.
