Tap pour at Produce Row. Little snifter 10 oz. Beautiful aroma from the onset with a great mix of subtle pine and citrus. Copper color with solid lacing and a quarter finger head. Mouthfeel is slightly oily but soft, smooth and wonderful. Nice blend of bitterness and sweetness almost pushing towards a double IPA. Aftertaste leans on those hops but doesnít feel like an overly hopped effort. Russian River delivers once again.

Light hop scents, and very light in color. Light hop flavors, with maybe a slight hint of malt. Solid IPA, but not quite as good when drinking side by side with Pliny the Elder.

On tap at Khyber Pass Pub in Philly. What else to add, delicious. Solid hop aroma of tangerine and pine. Same taste with lots of citrus like mango. Light amber color with a medium head and lacing. Nice sticky finish with a bit of hop smack. 7.00 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Stymied as to why this is rated so highly, other than perhaps because itís from RR... Apricot-gold pour, small white head. Flavor and aroma are fresh, grassy, bitter, a bit floral with notes of toasted malt. A bit thin. Decent but nothing amazing.

Pours clear orange, white lacing. Aroma is pine, resin, hops hops hops. Taste is orange-grapefruit, caramel, wonderfully dry but not unbalanced. A straightforward and delicious West coast IPA that Iím very fond of.

Sampler at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. Hazy golden color with white head. Hoppy, not too fruity or resinous, more green. Some grapefruit though. Shallots/garlic, very surprising! Decent bitterness. A very different IPA!

500 mL bottle poured into a pint glass. Golden straw colored with a big white head. Hazy, but not sedimenty looking. Traces of head remain with loads of lacing. HOPS. Citrusy hops. Orange and grapefruit hops. No malt smells at all. HOPS. Citrusy hops. Orange and grapefruit hops. No malt taste at all. This is hop juice. The most pared down way of delivering hop flavor. Not even a hint of sweetness to make it easier to drink. As much as I like hop bombs, this isnít balanced at all. Itís bitter, then itís bitter, then itís bitter some more. Because of the low malt character, itís thin. Even for a single IPA, itís very thin. The carbonation feels high, even though I donít think it is very high. Just the nature of ti makes it seem that way. It is what it is. If you want something that delivers as much hop flavor in a low ABV package as possible, this is it.
