Tap at Toronado. One of the big ones, for sure. Light orange no head but quite a bit of lacing. Nose was pretty quiet, some pine. Notes of citrus fruit, some sweeter notes and lots of earthy bitterness. Tastes were full body with lively carbonation and lasting bitterness. My mouth was pretty beat up after a night of great beers, love to try this again with less wear and tear.

Nice golden pour with thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Great hoppy, citrusy aroma and a taste that carries the aroma. Citrusy, piney and carries hop flavor wonderfully. Very nice! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good beer, pours orange with a large white head, smells of loads of citrus with some fruity notes, the beer is not very bitter for an IPA it taste of citrus up front with some bitterness in the back with some fruit notes lingering.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 Pours golden yellow with enough rocky white tiger. Aromas of pine and a lingering grapefruit and citrus. Taste follows the nose and finishes crisp and bitter without being overpowering.

Bottle from Lothore, thank you very much Tyler. Pours a white, froth head, with a honey-golden color. Fresh aromas of tropical, fruity hops, peach, orange and mango, along with honeyed pine and smooth caramel - finely nuanced with hints of citrus peel. Fresh, fruity hops are hovering above a sweet, honeyed malt backbone, while hints of lime acidity becomes detectable underneath. Hops sting the palate in a refreshing, dry fashion, without ever getting too aggressive. Honeyed, piny, malts wrap up the hops in a well balanced way, along with wisps of whitebread and grass, still, this beer is huge on the bitterness. The taste results in a smooth, dry ending, which is very bitter and hop driven, as malts tend to vanish. Finishes with hops lingering on the palate for a long time, developing a fascinating pleasant depth, as they turn from being fruity to a more bitter, dry impression. A classic IPA, focused on the bitterness, fantastic balanced.

500ml bottle picked up at the brewpub, bottle date 5.12.14. Golden orange with a good sized, almost white head. Nose was a nice balance of malt and citrus, taste was very dry and on the bitter side. Medium bodied with a nice abrupt finish, for sure one of the best ones.

Stinging bitter eats-through-your-teeth style ipa. Very dry but very good! I had this super fresh and you can definitely tell this is the way to drink it. It’s got that brutal yet delicate hop flavor that clearly would deteriorate with age. Overall I like it a lot, it’s not something you see every day in Michigan and the exoticism of the whole ordeal makes it even better. I’m glad I got a chance to try this!

Got a bottle of this from a trade. It poured a golden Crystal clear color with a small off white head. It both smells and tastes interesting. Very hoppy with a mellow citrus/grapefruity taste/smell. Very good.

Poured a golden orange color. Notes of grapefruit and pine. These follow through to the taste with some slight tropical notes. Dry and bitter back end. Nice body to this as well.
