4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Considering a fact that I don’t like IPA and this is the first one that surprised me with non overpowering bitterness and lot’s of flavor I give it top rating. Great beer with everything you want from IPA with addition of perfect taste. Strongly recommend it

Fresh bottle. Pours clear orange with quarter inch of white head. Aroma is orange, lemon, grapefruit, watermelon, dish soap, strawberry. Taste is bold and hoppy...hop presence is great. Slightly bitter draw. Resiny. Juicy and lingers on the palate.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap in San Diego (CA)
As if making a decision were not hard enough Toronado put this up against some other world class IPAs. Finally I decided to just pick one and go for it. This being the winner I was rewarded with a fantastic IPA that straddles the session line delicately. I can’t wait for the day I actually get to make it to the brewery and try these drafts on site.
Aroma / Appearance - A caramel base and offwhite vanilla head trap about 60% of the light that filters through. Like sticky flypaper it idly sits waiting for unsuspecting rays to float past. Warm earthy hops lend a bright feel that is rich in citrus and resin. Aggressive and effective this does not go for subtlety.
Flavor / Palate - Resin and creamy malt accompany a full bodied profile. Wheat, earthy notes, citrus, and more slowly unfold as they travel over the tongue to the back of the throat. The slow release gives everything a chance to build to an even stronger intensity. The bitterness that results is never harsh or acidic. Instead this is a nice go to beer for transitioning between lighter styles and higher gravity offerings.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at West End. Pours clear light copper with small, fine white head. Settles fairly quickly with sheets of thin lace. Aroma is resinous, floral hops, mild citrus. Flavor is mellow citrus, piney hops up front, fading into a malty, mildly nutty finish. More balance than expected, but also milder than expected. Clean but nothing groundbreaking. Moderate carbonation, light body and crisp texture.
