3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fairly hazy light orange pour. Very little white foam on top. Bright citrus scent, pineapple, apple, and orange. Seems to make my tongue fall asleep momentarily. Super well balanced taste, medium body. Hop taste is piney but smooth, a little spicy like there was the slightest amount of cayenne or chili. Finish is clean, slightly bitter and sour but void of most flavor.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the brewery. Bottled 2-24-14 and poured on 3-4-14. Oooh fresh. Pours to my wine glass a mostly clear golden copper color with a very creamy one finger white head on top. Classic grapefruit and pine aroma, some mango and pineapple, more pine and grass. Flavor is sweet tropical fruits behind massive pine bitterness. Resinous mouthfeel, medium carbonation, and extremely smooth. I do see why this is so loved, and it is quite a fantastic IPA with a lot of heft despite the lowish ABV. Good stuff.

Great IPA. I'd say it's #4 behind Heady Topper, Pliny the Elder, and Ginger Peach Jai Alai.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great beer. No qualms. Compared to Pliny, Pliny wins every time. I shouldn’t compare them... but I do anyway. Why does every beer they make have to be out of control good???

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled on Feb 4, 2014. Thin white head of varying sized bubbles with very minimal carbonation. Light and fruity aroma with lots of citrus, a hint of rubber on a deep inhale, cereal grains and some pine sap. Color is clear bright gold. Flavor is light and crisp and really accentuates the hops. Lots of bitterness and toasted malts, dried flowers, a bit of grapefruit pith and some chalky grains. Not overpowering anywhere. Just really tasty and bitter. Finishes dry and grainy with some lingering pine. A very good IPA! Thanks Fredward!!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 20 days old from the brewery continuously refrigerated. Pours light gold with decent lace. The aroma is very lovely fresh light citrus and pine, lighter tropical hops. The flavor is perfectly balanced biscuity sweetness, pithy and piny bitterness. The feel is light and fresh but still has substantial body and tight carbonation with a nice cooling super clean bitter end. It seems so simple and common at first but it is also so remarkably clean, well expressed, and in harmony that only outstanding marks are deserved.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
510 ml bottle- Pours clear golden with a huge three finger head with great retention. Aroma is hops, pungent and citrusy, grapefruit, sweet malt backbone. The taste is sweet up front, citrus and floral, dry bitter finish. Good beer, like a smaller version of the two pliney’s.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
17.25 oz bottle bought at the brewery. Bottled 2/4/14, a little over two weeks ago. Aroma is dank, piney, lemon rind--totally reminiscent of both Plinys. Pours almost clear golden with a thick off-white rocky head with excellent retention; curtains of lace sheet the glass. Taste is more earthy than the Plinys, but it has the same citrusy piney dank character those beers have. Thinner than I expected, which is fine. Excellent IPA.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from @VanS. Really fresh hop aroma that spills out of the glass. Color is fizzy golden with little head. Taste is good hop punch up front with a very clean taste. Wish there was just a little more malt in the background, but this is pretty good stuff.
