Pours a perfect dark yellow with a nice head. The body on this is strong but the hops take over after the first sip. Citrusy hops right upfront, then a bitter finish. Great beer.

From the tap at Toronado in San Francisco. Pour is clear apple juice golden with a thin head. Nose is citrus, tropical fruits with lots of floral hops. Taste is loads of fresh floral hops and citrus flavors with a long crisp bitter finish. Solid caramel malt backbone. Great IPA!

Another solid IPA from Russian River. Not too intense and not too absent, this is a great go-to brew for nearly any occasion.

Exceedingly fresh dry hop flavors. Surprisingly bright & citrusy while also piney and resinous (without the least hint of syrupy-ness). Killer IPA. So glad to have tried it on a snowed-in night with friends in northern Vermont.

Bottle. Pours murky orange with thin white head that lingers. Nice hop aroma over light carbonation. Hop forward but limited complexity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from a trade. Thanks Wyatt! Orange cloudy colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of flowers, honey and passion fruit. Light sweet, bitter hoppy finish. Well balanced and easy drinkable. Good IPA!

From draft, very full creamy head. Orange Amber appearance. The look of this beer is tops. Hoppy, not quite Pliney level but a full hoppy balanced beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

solid IPA. One of the few where the aroma is better than the taste. If you are somewhere that has Russian River, get a Pliny instead. this is very good just not as great as the Pliny.

Bottle given by friend kaiser. Bottled on 10/07/2014. Aroma - Amazing tropical aroma. Appearance - orangish color with light fluffy head. Taste - Very good taste - missing a titch of body, but very solid. Palate - lingering fizzy carbonation. Overall - a top notch beer. Worthy of the rating.

(bottle) slightly hazy deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy resin and some caramel, with some hints of green tea, grapes, some gooseberries, cherries and vanilla. flavour is mostly caramel and gooseberries, with more vanilla, herbal hops, a light hint of alcohol, some buttered pale malts and a light-bitter citric finish. medium- to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.
