Nice bright color and flavor. Lots of citrus from the hops. I may like this more than PTE. But that’s just my personal IPA preferences.

Draft at RRBC. Clear gold, head recedes but lingers. Sweet citrus slightly tropical hop aroma, some malt notes. Medium sweet bready malt then fairly big bitterness, resin, touch of floral, orange lemon grapefruit citrus and some mango pineapple tropical. Medium body, softish carb. Really good but pretty understated, very drinkable. Plenty of complexity to keep you coming back.

Bottle. Aroma is a clean, dank hop. Appearance is a light bronze with good lacing. Taste is hoppy with a dank finish. Very effervescent and refreshing. Palate is light hops. Overall, a great IPA. Very much rivals the elder. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A fresh bottle poured into a globe.

A - Pours deep amber orange with a nice pillow one finger tall white head, dissipating down to next to nothing, leaving spotty lacing down the glass.

S - Tons of citric hops up front with a nice lightly toasted caramel malt core. A bit grassy with some sweetness creeping in as it begins to warm up. Very nice stuff.

T - Nice citric hop bite up front is balanced out well with a nice mix of caramel malt sweetness and crisp tropical fruits. Finish is a bit dry with some nice lingering hop bitterness. Much better this time, still one of my all time favorites but I still prefer elder to the pig.

M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Nice light, refreshing, feel on the pallet. Finish has some lingering bitterness but nothing too over the top.

D - Very high. Blind pig has very good balance with plenty of drinkability left over. I love this stuff but I still prefer elder a bit more.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle dated 09/02/3014. Aroma is very hoppy with a nice tropical fruit and citrus character balanced by some pine resin. Light cracker and biscuit malt notes. Pours a fairly clear, golden color with a hint of orange and copper hues. Moderately sized, somewhat thick, white head. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a medium light cracker and pale malt character. Moderately strong bitterness with a rather dry finish. Some moderately strong hop flavor with some citrus and pine resin. Faint tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice IPA with some great hop notes. Really nice, light but balanced malt profile that adds just a touch of complexity.

Great aroma of hops, slightly floral with citrus undertones. Great looking with an amber color and a medium white well laced head. Extremely good balanced taste of hops, weed with dry feel and a distinctive weed aftertaste
