COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale with currants added and aged in oak barrels.

When we made the Toronado’s 20th Anniversary Ale, we had no idea that it would turn out to be one of our favorite barrel aged beers we would ever make. With that said, we have always wanted to make a dark barrel aged beer using 100% Cabernet Sauvignon barrels but, we never were inspired. That is, until we blended five different beers to make the Toronado beer, the tobacco character from the the dark malts blended nicely with the furit character that developed in blending. So, with Concescration we set out to make a barrel beer using all Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. No, we are not saying that this is a replica of the T-rooms anniversary beer, after all, a beer like that can never be duplicated, and, there was no fruit added to that beer as there is with this one. All we are saying is that it gave us great inspiration to brew Consecration.

Pours dark red with little head. Smell is sour funk, fruit, and red wine. Taste is red wine, grapes and funk. Rolls across the tongue sour but very crisp. Light body, high carb.

First let me start off by saying I don’t really like sours. On tap at the brewery. Pours dark golden honey color, small head. Arom ais sour, funk, raisins. Flavor is very tart, very sour. Too sour for me. Smells pretty great but overall just too sour.

Best sour ever! We all loved this! The oak smell make it seem harsh but the currents balance out the flavor and give it a sweet flavor

Wine, cherry nose. Clean acidity punctuated by tart cherry. Spritzy carbonation helps the beer vanish off the palate.

A Perfectly crafted Amber-Sour. The Lush Berry aroma lightly fill the air. The majestic flavors of Dark Fruit intertwined with Cab Oak offer the most unique first taste followed by a distinct & colorful Amber-Sour crescendo. An Experience in a Bottle.

Corked & caged bottle split 4 ways. Murky burgundy pour with some tiny lacings. Nose has balsamico, tart red berries, currants, cherries and some vanilla. Taste is light acidic, leather, vanilla, currants, balsamico, dark malts and with a light alcohol burn in the finish.

Perfect in all aspects. So great aroma of white wine grapes and peppery oak. Taste is tart with a vinous soothing flavor. Oak finish and lively carbonation. Awesome brew.

Bottle, 37,5cl corked and caged thanks to Erik. Pours a dark reddish, unclear brown with an off white, short lasting, fizzy head. Aroma has lots of oak, tobacco, darker malts, black currant, vinous, tart stuff. Taste is very tart at first, but has lots of deeper, darker malty and fruity notes. Some sweetness, but only just enough to balance the tart stuff. Alcohol is present for sure. Very nice and powerfull sour!! Full body and med high carbonation.
