Roasted nuts and bittersweet chocolate nose. Herbal and earthy palate with notes of tobacco, leather and spiced cocoa. Very creamy mouthfeel with a very nice mocha finish.

Another award winner by Vinnie...i swear this thing was hopped up on nitro and a few of my tablemates agreed. This one poured a glacial black with absolutely no hints of any other color to be found when held up to the light. This was just about the only Vinnie beer to have a head...beige and tan colored, BEYOND CREAMY and INVITING...good lacing and excellent head retention throughout. The aroma is purely coffee, vanilla, smokiness, and alcohol. The taste is that of coffee and roastiness with a very slight hint to the alcohol that lies within. It ends very smoothly with a mildly malty finish. Also during this aftertaste something to effects of mocha and aged wood come into the tasting...just superb. The carbonation is just excellent here...nice bubbles accumulating at the bottom of the pint glass only to assault the palate and leave a foamy creaminess of roast and smokey wood. I cant help it...i’m just stunned..that is one DAM good STOUT!!!
