3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours light golden with a lot of fast moving bubbles and a large white head that stays. Aroma is of hay, melon, pear, light citrus zest, sweet cream. Flavor is of butter, hay, citrus zest, mixed light fruit. Fluffy light body somewhat creamy palate. Not huge flavor just a very nicely crafted very drinkable belgain style ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice golden color with a medium head and a little lacing. Tastes sweet and spicy at the same time with hints of citrusy undertones, particularly at the beginning of the beer.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This 750 ml. was carried with love by BA UncleFlip from Vintage Cellar in Virginia. And for that act of kindness, words canít do justice.
The bottle was capped with a cork and a wire cage, which came off easily enough, thanks to the now trusty heavy duty cork puller. As the beer was poured into a tulip, a golden clear body with rolling carbonation, and a foamy white head were evident.
The aroma was signature Belgian, with a earthy yeast, orange peel, coriander, and perfumey alcohol. The taste was sweet-sour-tart, and darn near perfect. Seemingly simple and approachable with a pale malt sweetness and airy carbonation at first, the beer exploded on the tongue mid palette with citric sourness with a banana oil tropical touch. Faintly grassy hop bitterness momentarily poked out its head, but was buried in the apricot, and raspberry flavors in short order. All this flavor switching went on without the beer ever losing its drinkability.
This was my first Russian River, and if I can help it, it wonít be the last.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a golden color, fluffy white head, opaque and good lacing from the head. Aroma explodes with fruitiness, pear, banana, some spices hiding in there, a real pleasure to sniff this one. Flavors are yeasy, a hint of sweet malts and a bit of dry yeastiness in the finish, just the right amount of harsh yeast flavors there. Really smooth in the mouth, this went down extraordinarily easy for an ale of this strength. All in all, Iím very impressed by this brew, I hope I have the opportunity to try some more of Vinnyís creations.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Liars Club. Golden and clear with a small white head that diminished quickly leaving some lacing. Sweet fruity aroma with pear, peach yeast and candy sugar. Sweet fruity malts, peach, prune and candy sugar notes again, some spice as well. full body and smooth carbonation. Good example of a belgian golden.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is one of Russian Riverís most popular ítioní beers. I detected a lot of fruit and spice in both aroma and taste. It is really well balanced, but does have a slight bitter aftertaste. Very enjoyable
