I hated belgian strongs, and i hate bananas, but this one is different, this tastes awesome.... i could drink this all the time, taste is clove and ester with a funk of yeast which complements rather than over powers as other BSA’s have... this was really enjoyable. jpaliga10 (7), Indiana, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 18, 2008 Highly carbonated.. pours a light goldenrod hue with a cloud-like head. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2008 750ml bottle. Batch 18. Aged 15 months. Interesting mix of dusty yeast and fruity esters on the nose. Bubblegum and dry leaves with a softer malt base as well. Pours bright gold with a huge rocky white head leaving spotty lacing. Flavor starts out fairly dry but finishes rather fruity and spicy. Not a whole lot going on, but decent nonetheless. Some ripe pear, white pepper, dry cut grass. Minimal hop presence with a decent bready malt base. Medium bodied with excellent carbonation. Finishes with a lingering yeasty dryness. Thanks Andrew! Ramenen (453), San Salvador, El Salvador
